The What..
Our client is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer / Senior Site Reliability Engineer to take ownership of a critical, stand alone platform which allows a number of our clients core applications to run. Technology wise we are looking for in a successful Senior Platform Engineer / Senior Site Reliability Engineer:
- Kubernetes (AKS) experience is critical as you will become the SME on this particular platform so existing expertise is paramount.
- Strong experience across infrastructure and networking.
- DevOps background would be advantageous with skills within Python.
- Experience working with API-based microservices.
- Experience with private cloud & on-prem infrastructure would be beneficial (AWS).
Culturally we are looking for someone who has a good mind for risk, reliability and someone who is able to thrive within cross-functional collaboration across technology teams.
