We’re supporting a groundbreaking industrial technology organisation that is rebuilding the software stack powering modern manufacturing. They are looking for exceptionally driven Full Stack Software Engineers who want to work on problems that directly impact the physical world. You’ll help build a first-of-its-kind operating system for distributed manufacturing, working at the intersection of real-time data, automation, and UX. This role is ideal for engineers with a generalist mindset, strong fundamentals, and the ability to thrive in an intense, high-autonomy environment.
What You’ll Do
- Architect, design, and implement core systems for factory automation, real-time monitoring, and production workflows.
- Own full-stack development across infrastructure, backend services, frontend UX, and ML-driven features.
- Collaborate closely with leadership and on-site teams to identify operational bottlenecks and turn them into scalable software.
- Deploy software directly into production environments, iterating quickly based on real-world feedback.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of high-reliability systems operating in fast-paced, high-stakes settings.
- Optimise utilisation of machine tools and coordinate workflows across multiple production facilities.
Requirements
- Strong UX/front-end experience is a plus.
- Experience with automation, real-time systems, or industrial environments is beneficial.
- Ability to work across the stack — backend, frontend, infrastructure, and product.
- High agency: someone who ships fast and learns fast.
- Bonus: experience as a founder, early-stage engineer, or at a fast-moving tech company.
Why Join
- Build software with real-world impact — your code powers machines, production lines, and mission-critical workflows.
- Work on a transformative problem — helping reinvent how manufacturing is done at scale.
- High ownership environment — no middle layers, just smart people solving hard problems.
- Exceptional equity upside — meaningful ownership in a company with strong funding and runway.
- Full-stack scope — contribute to everything from MES systems to AI-driven decision tools and user interfaces.
- Factory-first culture — spend each day building and testing software in a real manufacturing environment.
- Rapid scaling opportunity — be part of growing a network of factories across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
Looking to hire 2–3 engineers. 4 -7 years of experience preferred, but open to exceptional individuals outside this range. Must be willing to work fully on-site in London (5 days/week). Mission alignment with revitalising manufacturing and solving real-world problems is key.
