We're working with a leading global insights and analytics business that's investing heavily in the growth of its Data Science capability. They help some of the world's biggest consumer brands understand audience behaviour, marketing effectiveness and consumer trends through advanced analytics, machine learning and data science. They're now looking for a Data Science Manager to lead a team of four Data Scientists whilst remaining hands-on with the technology.
The Why?

The What?
Reporting into the Data Science Director, you'll lead a team of four Data Scientists within a wider 30-person Data Science function. The role is roughly 50% leadership and 50% hands-on, giving you the opportunity to mentor and develop your team whilst continuing to build sophisticated machine learning and predictive models. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating complex analytical challenges into practical commercial solutions.
Key Things You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a team of four Data Scientists
- Building Machine Learning and predictive models using Python and Azure Databricks
- Working with large-scale consumer, audience and marketing datasets
- Presenting analytical insights to senior stakeholders
- Driving best practice across modelling, experimentation and Data Science
- Working closely with Product, Technology and Commercial teams to solve complex business problems
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience with Python, Machine Learning and Azure Databricks
- Previous leadership or people management experience within a Data Science team
- A strong mathematical or statistical background
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience within Market Research, Media Analytics, Audience Measurement, Consumer Insights or Marketing Science would be highly advantageous
