We are seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team at our Simonstone location in an on-site, full-time role. The HSE Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and promoting a safe and healthy workplace. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing safety protocols
- Conducting risk assessments
- Delivering training programs
- Monitoring occupational health initiatives
- Ensuring adherence to regulations
- Investigating incidents or hazards
Collaboration with teams across the organization and maintaining excellent customer service standards are integral to the role.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate effectively with various teams, external agencies, and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health practices, including risk assessments, compliance, and workplace safety protocols.
- Ability to analyze health and safety data and generate detailed reports for continuous improvement.
- Relevant certifications in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management or a related field.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in industrial manufacturing environments.
- Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail.
- NEBOSH Diploma, or equivalent Level 6 qualification in a related discipline is preferred.
