Our client is a leading infrastructure and utilities organisation delivering large‐scale digital transformation across complex operational environments. They are seeking a Digital Delivery Director to lead enterprise‐wide integration of SAP/ERP and critical operational systems, driving end‐to‐end digital delivery, data integration, and capital programme optimisation.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and delivering the organisation's enterprise digital integration strategy, ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP, ERP, asset management, and operational technology platforms. You will lead large‐scale transformation programmes, embedding modern delivery practices, data‐driven decision‐making, and system integration across a complex, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Define and lead enterprise SAP/ERP and digital integration strategy
- Oversee integration across SAP, Maximo, SCADA, GIS, Azure, and Power Platform ecosystems
- Lead delivery of large‐scale digital transformation and capital programmes
- Drive enterprise data architecture, governance, and system interoperability
- Introduce automation, analytics, and GenAI‐enabled capabilities into delivery and operations
- Lead multi‐disciplinary teams across digital, data, engineering, and change
- Engage Executive and Board stakeholders on strategy, delivery, and performance
- Ensure governance, compliance, and benefits realisation across all programmes
- 15–20+ years' experience in digital transformation, ERP/SAP integration, or enterprise systems leadership
- Proven delivery of large‐scale programmes in utilities, infrastructure, energy, telecoms, or regulated environments
- Strong experience integrating SAP/ERP with enterprise platforms (e.g. Maximo, SCADA, GIS, Azure, Power BI)
- Track record leading £multi‐million / £billion‐scale transformation or capital programmes
- Strong leadership of cross‐functional, geographically distributed teams
- Ability to operate at Executive and Board level with strong stakeholder influence
- Experience with GenAI, predictive analytics, or advanced digital automation
- Exposure to capital investment optimisation or asset‐intensive industries
- SAP / ERP certifications and/or Agile, SAFe, MSP, PRINCE2 qualifications
