Overview of the role:
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Implementation & Change Lead to help drive a large-scale operational and digital transformation programme across multiple workstreams, products and stakeholder groups. This is not a traditional project management role. We need someone who can combine delivery leadership, implementation management, business change, stakeholder engagement and operational pragmatism within a fast-moving product and client environment.
You will work directly with senior leadership, client stakeholders, product teams, development teams, business change specialists and operational users to ensure programmes are delivered with pace, structure, credibility and consistency. The role requires someone who is comfortable operating from executive-level steering conversations all the way down into the detail of delivery execution, implementation planning and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme & Delivery Leadership
- Lead delivery coordination across multiple product implementations and workstreams
- Bring structure, governance and consistency to large-scale transformation activity
- Ensure alignment between roadmap, delivery plans, operational dependencies and client expectations
- Drive delivery cadence across stand-ups, implementation reviews, steering groups and operational checkpoints
- Identify risks, blockers and dependencies early and coordinate mitigation activities
- Support go-live planning, deployment readiness and hypercare activities
- Business Change & Operational Readiness
- Lead implementation and business change activities across operational teams and supply chain partners
- Help clients transition from legacy operational processes into modern digital workflows
- Drive adoption, engagement and behavioural change across operational and field teams
- Coordinate training, communications and operational readiness activities
- Ensure delivery approaches balance speed with sustainable organisational adoption
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders across operational, transformation and IT functions
- Provide confidence through clear communication, robust planning and visible control of delivery
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical operational stakeholders
- Support executive-level reporting, governance and programme communications
- Maintain alignment across internal teams, client teams and third-party suppliers
- Product & Technical Delivery Coordination
- Work closely with product owners, developers, architects and delivery teams to coordinate delivery priorities
- Provide delivery guardrails to agile product and engineering teams
- Ensure requirements, scope and delivery outcomes remain aligned to programme objectives
- Support integration and implementation activities across complex client environments
- Coordinate across internal and external technology teams including client IT departments
- Operational Transformation
- Support the rollout of operational tooling across contractor and supply chain environments
- Help establish standardised operational processes and scalable delivery models
- Ensure implementation quality, data integrity and operational consistency
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure solutions are fit for real operational use in the field
Experience & Background
We are looking for someone with experience operating in complex transformation and implementation environments, ideally within utilities, infrastructure, operational technology or regulated industries.
