Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Functional Project Manager to lead the implementation of a Project Portfolio Management solution and support enterprise-wide transformation programs. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed effectively, risks are managed, and outcomes are delivered on time and within budget. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys combining practical project management expertise with hands-on system implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and adoption of a PPM tool (Planisware) across the organisation.
- Translate transformation requirements into practical project plans and workflows.
- Establish and enforce project management best practices, ensuring consistency across multiple programs.
- Monitor project progress, dependencies, risks, and budgets, providing clear reporting at both project and portfolio levels.
- Train and coach internal teams on the PPM solution and project management methodology.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the executive team, to ensure alignment of projects with strategic objectives.
- Support the ongoing development of program and project management capability within the business.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience implementing PPM systems in an FMCG, manufacturing, or transformation-heavy environment.
- Strong functional project management expertise, with a pragmatic and practical approach.
- Experience managing large, complex transformation programs across multiple geographies.
- Ability to train and develop teams to adopt new systems and processes effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment, with multiple concurrent priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years in project management or transformation roles, ideally with exposure to enterprise PPM tools.
- Track record of successful project delivery and driving operational improvements.
- Experience working with or alongside consulting partners and large-scale transformation teams is a plus.
