We are working with an exciting client in the payments industry who are looking to bring on a Quality Engineer on a contract basis. As part of the application development team, your role will focus on testing products and ensuring quality from proof of concept to deployment.
Contract Length: 6-Months
Day rate: £500 per day (Outside IR35)
Hybrid Working Model: 3 days per week in the London office
Responsibilities:
- Assist in task planning and review as part of a sprint based workflow.
- Adhere to and implement enterprise quality standards, processes and tools.
- Translate complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods.
- Engage with best practices for code review, version control, and change control.
- Optimise solution performance with a constrained set of technologies.
- Engage with productionising machine learning technologies.
- Experience of test automation using the latest technology in early software development life cycle.
- Understand best practices on BDD scripts on both backend and frontend applications.
- A good understanding of Java/JavaScript or alternatively programming language and capable of building test automation framework from scratch.
