Looking for a new challenge?
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking HR & Transformation Director to join our rapidly growing consultancy. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will lead our HR function and drive a business-wide HR transformation programme.
As the People & Transformation Director, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the overall people strategy, managing the HR team, and ensuring the HR function is future-fit, scalable, and aligned with business growth. Alongside this, you will lead on transformation initiatives, embedding new systems, processes, and ways of working to support organisational growth and cultural evolution.
This role offers the opportunity to influence business direction at the highest level and requires a balance of strategic vision, operational delivery, and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and inspire the HR team to deliver both operational and strategic HR outcomes.
- Own and deliver the people strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and growth plans.
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, reward, workforce planning, and talent development.
- Drive and deliver a HR transformation programme, ensuring systems, processes, and policies are scalable and future-ready.
- Lead change management initiatives, embedding new digital HR tools, processes, and cultural shifts across the business.
- Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to support organisational design, workforce planning, and succession strategies.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, embedding these values across the organisation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing expertise on people, culture, and transformation.
- Establish robust frameworks to measure the impact of HR and transformation initiatives, driving continuous improvement.
About You
- Proven track record in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced consultancy, professional services, or growth environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR transformation programmes (systems, processes, and cultural change).
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and people strategy.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Skilled in organisational design, workforce planning, and change management.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with the credibility to operate at Board level.
- Highly proactive, solutions-oriented, and resilient, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Professional HR qualification (CIPD Level 7 or equivalent) desirable.
- Experience in the utilities, infrastructure, or regulated industries advantageous.
