Head of IT Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire (Hybrid - 4 days on-site, 1 day WFH) Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits About Us A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of IT / IT Manager to join a well-established multi-site retail business and take ownership of its day-to-day technology function. Reporting directly to the IT Director, you'll lead a small internal team, manage key technology suppliers and play a pivotal role in supporting stores, head office and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on leadership role with genuine autonomy and influence across the business. The Role * Lead and develop the IT team. * Manage day-to-day IT operations and service delivery. * Support and optimise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. * Oversee infrastructure, networks, security and business-critical applications. * Manage third-party suppliers and technology partners. * Drive continuous improvement across IT systems and processes. * Support stores, head office and operational stakeholders. * Contribute to the wider technology roadmap and future initiatives. What We're Looking For * Previous experience as a Head of IT, IT Manager, IT Operations Manager or similar. * Experience within retail, hospitality, leisure, distribution or another multi-site environment. * Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV or similar ERP platforms. * Strong leadership experience with a track record of developing teams. * Experience managing suppliers, service providers and technology partners. * Sound understanding of IT operations, infrastructure and service delivery. * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Desirable Experience * Microsoft 365 administration and optimisation. * EPOS, stock management or retail systems. * Ecommerce environments. * Cyber security and business continuity. * Process improvement and automation initiatives.
