About the Role

A leading global software company is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join its Partnership Operations team in London. This role supports a global retail partnerships business spanning multiple geographies and one of the organisation’s largest indirect revenue channels.

You will be responsible for managing forecasting, performance tracking, budget governance, and operational execution across a global retail rebate programme. Working closely with Sales, Finance, FP&A, Global Operations, Partner Operations, and external agencies, you will help ensure consistent KPIs, accurate forecasting, and timely financial processes. This is a high-impact individual contributor role requiring autonomy, strong analytical capability, and the ability to operate across Americas, EMEA, and APAC time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Planning
    • Own the retail rebate budget forecast, building scenario models (low / mid / high)
    • Incorporate key drivers such as pricing, product transitions, partner mix, and macro factors
    • Improve forecast accuracy and reduce variance-driven escalations (target ±5%)
    • Translate commercial plans into multi-quarter financial outlooks with clear assumptions
    • Support annual planning and in-year forecast and pricing adjustments
  • Performance Reporting & Analytics
    • Lead bi-weekly and monthly performance reviews across key KPIs (e.g., revenue, redemption, cost metrics)
    • Maintain a single source of truth dashboard across multiple data systems
    • Deliver variance analysis, escalation triggers, and actionable insights for leadership
    • Develop partner, product, and regional performance analysis to support decision-making
  • Operational Governance
    • Own end-to-end operational cadence across Sales, Finance, Ops, and external partners
    • Ensure timely execution of purchase orders, accruals, rebates, and partner payments
    • Track commitments vs forecast and proactively manage PO and spend alignment
    • Maintain SOPs, governance documentation, and audit-ready processes
    • Drive automation and process improvements across reporting and operations
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the central coordination point across Sales, Finance, Revenue Ops, and external agencies
    • Translate performance and financial data into clear executive-ready narratives
    • Support quarterly business reviews and forecasting cycles
    • Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability across stakeholders

What You Bring

  • Experience
    • 5+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Channel Operations, or FP&A
    • Experience managing forecasting, budget ownership, and performance reporting for large-scale budgets or P&Ls
    • Exposure to indirect, partner-led, or retail/channel business models preferred
  • Technical & Analytical Skills
    • Strong financial modelling and scenario planning skills (Excel or equivalent)
    • Ability to work with large, complex datasets across multiple systems (ERP, data warehouses, finance platforms)
    • SQL or equivalent data querying skills (advantageous)
    • Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Stakeholder & Communication Skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analysis
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
    • Comfortable leading recurring business reviews and driving decisions to closure
  • Operating Style
    • Self-starter able to define structure, processes, and operating rhythm independently
    • Strong project/program management discipline (timelines, ownership, governance)
    • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation and efficiency
  • Nice to Have
