Overview of the role:

The Head of Delivery is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of water and/or wastewater programmes, ensuring safe, efficient and assured execution of capital and operational transformation or product deployment initiatives. The role provides leadership across project management, network engineering and delivery teams, translating strategy into measurable improved outcomes for clients and stakeholders. Strong Water/Wastewater industry experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own delivery performance across water and wastewater portfolios, ensuring time, cost, quality objectives are achieved.
  • Exceed outcome commitments.
  • Deliver at pace (in pursuit of early benefit delivery).
  • Lead, motivate and inspire our delivery teams including engineers and consultants, setting clear priorities and delivery standards.
  • Establish and adhere to consistent delivery governance, assurance, reporting and controls across programmes.
  • Act as the senior interface with clients, partners and internal leadership on delivery matters.
  • Manage delivery risk, dependencies, capacity and resourcing across the portfolio.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency, digital enablement and ways of working.
  • Grow client accounts during deployment, identifying further problem statements and developing solutions with the broader Skewb team.
  • Have fun, celebrate the wins and reflect on a job well done.

  • Senior leadership experience delivering complex water or wastewater programmes.
  • Strong understanding of capital delivery, operational delivery, water and wastewater networks and the regulated water landscape.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial, risk management and performance management capability.
