We’re looking for a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join a high-impact transformation programme, taking charge of architecting and automating cloud-native networks and hybrid estates across AWS and VMC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture of AWS and VMC network infrastructures within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Define and implement automation of network operations – including firewall rules and virtual firewall deployment.
- Spearhead the migration of on-premise infrastructure into AWS, automating data handling across data centres.
- Assess current cloud infrastructure, define architectural standards, and provide clear technical direction to engineering teams.
- Act as a strategic advisor and technical lead, engaging confidently with senior stakeholders and delivery teams.
You’ll Need:
- Proven experience with AWS, VMware Cloud (VMC), and large network estates.
- Deep understanding of network automation (firewalls, virtual appliances, policy-based controls).
- Demonstrated ability to automate and migrate data centre environments into AWS.
- Exceptional communication and leadership – able to assess, define, and instruct at a strategic level.
Nice to Have:
- Experience designing and delivering core learning paths – including training frameworks and role-based enablement as an architect.
