We are looking for an experienced HR & ER Process / Service Now Design Authority to help shape and deliver the future state of their HR and Employee Relations (ER) service model.

This is a senior role sitting at the intersection of HR/ER transformation, operating model design and Service Now HRSD.

You will work closely with senior HR and ER stakeholders to assess current ways of working, define the future state and translate business requirements into scalable Service Now solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior SME for HR and Employee Relations, bringing strong knowledge of the end-to-end employee lifecycle and ER casework, including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, absence and performance.
  • Build strong relationships with senior HR and ER stakeholders, challenging current processes and identifying opportunities for standardisation, simplification and automation.
  • Assess existing global and regional HR/ER processes and help define an effective future-state operating model and governance structure.
  • Shape the Service Now HRSD and Employee Relations roadmap, identifying opportunities to improve employee journeys, case management, knowledge management and automation.
  • Translate HR/ER requirements into Service Now HRSD capabilities, advising on configuration versus customisation and appropriate delivery phasing.
  • Provide design authority across HR/ER processes, data and Service Now solutions, ensuring designs are scalable and aligned with the wider platform roadmap.
  • Advise senior stakeholders and steering committees on prioritisation, sequencing and transformation opportunities.
  • Support the adoption of new Service Now capabilities through training, knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement.
  • Help optimise employee journeys across key lifecycle events, including joiners, movers and leavers.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Virtual Agent, workflow automation, case routing and knowledge management to improve HR service delivery.

Experience Required

  • Strong, demonstrable experience with Service Now HRSD, ideally including Employee Relations / HR case management.
  • Deep understanding of HR and Employee Relations processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience designing or transforming HR operating models, ideally within complex/global organisations.
  • Proven experience working with senior HR and ER stakeholders, with the confidence to challenge existing processes and influence future-state design.
  • Experience with Service Now Employee Journeys, particularly joiner/mover/leaver processes.
  • Strong understanding of Service Now configuration, automation, workflows, knowledge management and case routing.
  • Experience defining future-state processes and multi-year digitalisation/automation roadmaps.
  • Ability to distinguish where Service Now standard functionality/configuration can meet requirements versus where customisation may be required.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and training / knowledge-transfer skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Service Now HRSD / HR Transformation professional to take a genuine design authority position, working directly with senior HR leadership and helping shape how HR and Employee Relations services are delivered through Service Now.
