Forsyth Barnes have partnered with an established and growing Retailer based in the Leeds area. They are seeking an experienced Merchandiser – you will be responsible for the merchandising function for both Retail (in store) and e-commerce. You will ensure full inventory of products online and in store but also keep up to date with market trends, analysing sales data.
Collaboration, communication and innovation are at the heart of the business. To be successful you must be commutable distance, have the ability to effectively share knowledge at all levels and think outside of the box to retain margin and desired stock at a high level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure we land the right stock landed at the right time, in the right Distribution Centre and right quantities using a deep understanding of sales performance split by category and territory
- Control stock levels based on weekly sales and stock intakes, ensuring core lines are always in stock
- Ownership of a Merchandising team, ensuring the team are managed against core KPIs
- Assess current systems landscape and support in the evolution of the bespoke system
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years in merchandising and demand planning within Retail/Ecommerce and ideally with Founder led business exposure
- A strong understanding of Retail consumer behaviour
- Analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret data
- Good technical acumen to adapt to bespoke merchandising systems
- Independent and self-sufficient but able to work with individuals across the business
