Summary

  • Seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the definition and implementation of a target data strategy .
  • Responsible for defining, agreeing, and maintaining the data strategy and implementation roadmap , ensuring alignment with business system needs and operating landscape.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders, translating their requirements into data architecture solutions that drive business value.
  • Strong understanding of data-mesh design strategy , with experience transitioning data warehousing to this paradigm.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective data solutions , clearly communicating benefits to both business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Influence data strategy development at an organizational level, identifying transformation opportunities.
  • Represent the data domain in enterprise-level governance and architecture forums.
  • Define and communicate current, resultant, and target state architectures , ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Translate architecture roadmaps into actionable work packages for incremental value delivery.
  • Play a key role in change teams, owning the delivery of data architecture products .
  • Develop and maintain architecture models, roadmaps, and standards to ensure strategic alignment.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Data Management requirements within regulated industries, particularly Financial Services .
  • Proven experience in data strategy development and data architecture transformation , leveraging strategic technology solutions.
