Job Description

As the Practice Lead for Water, you will helm a cross‑disciplinary program targeting water assets, treatment, and optimisation within the energy, utilities, and waste sectors. You will shape the portfolio roadmap, align capabilities with client priorities, and guide a team of engineers and consultants to deliver defensible, high‑value recommendations. End-to-end accountability covers discovery through delivery with emphasis on risk governance, value realisation, and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction for the water practice and define portfolio priorities aligned to market demand and business objectives.
  • Head multi‑disciplinary squads to engineer treatment, reuse, and recovery solutions for power generation, refining, and industrial operations.
  • Implement program‑level governance around delivery, risk monitoring, and stakeholder communications.
  • Expand the practice through targeted hiring, mentorship, and capability development across hydraulics, treatment, and water resources.
  • Collaborate with clients to translate water challenges into executable programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor regulatory trends and ensure safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship across programs.

Requirements

  • Extensive background in water asset management, treatment, and water resources engineering within energy, utilities, or processing sectors.
  • Proven leadership and program delivery experience, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.
