Job Title: E-Com Front end Software Engineer
Location: West Yorkshire
Working Pattern: 2 days per week in office Tues – Thursday
Salary: £57,000 to £65,000 + £6,000 allowance and other benefits
Forsyth Barnes is partnering with a leading e-commerce organisation to recruit a Senior Front-End Software Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-traffic, customer-facing websites and shopping apps, driving innovation and enhancing user experience.
Key Tech Stack:
  • Front-End: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery
  • Mobile App Development: Apache Cordova, Ionic
  • Performance Optimization: Lazy loading, caching, code splitting
  • Back-End Integration: Microsoft ASP, .NET
  • Digital Marketing Tech: Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target
  • DevOps & CI/CD: GitLab, Jenkins, Selenium
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-performance, responsive e-commerce websites and apps.
  • Optimise front-end performance for fast load times and seamless UX.
  • Collaborate with UX, back-end, and digital teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Implement security best practices (CSRF, XSS, CORS)
