We are currently recruiting for a Venue Technology Manager to join a fast-growing organisation within the sports and entertainment industry. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the technical delivery and ongoing operation of technology across a growing network of venues.
You'll act as the central technical lead across venue technology, overseeing new site rollouts, technical infrastructure, third-party providers and ongoing support. The role will suit someone with a strong technical background who enjoys being hands-on, managing multiple projects and solving technical challenges in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Location: Harlow 2/3 days per week (with UK travel to venues)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
What you'll be doing:
- Leading the setup and alignment of technical infrastructure across venues
- Overseeing the rollout of technology solutions into new venues and customer locations
- Managing technical delivery across multiple projects, including project plans and technical requirements
- Coordinating with third-party technology providers and internal customer support teams to ensure effective support frameworks are in place
- Providing initial triage and resolution of technical issues across the venue environment
- Acting as an escalation point for third-party providers and venue teams
- Maintaining detailed records of incidents, technical data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement
- Rolling out and maintaining the technical environment, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations
- Driving continuous improvement across venue technology, support processes and technical delivery
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions are delivered effectively across the venue estate

- Proven experience in technology infrastructure setup, rollout and management
- Strong project management and technical delivery experience
- Experience managing and coordinating third-party vendors and technology service providers
- Understanding of incident management processes and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and triage technical issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong technical background, with an understanding of connectivity and venue technology preferred
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of technical delivery
