Role Purpose:
We are seeking a hands-on Change Manager with Microsoft Business Central expertise to lead the end-to-end change management for a major ERP implementation. This role is critical to ensuring teams across the business are confident, capable, and ready to operate effectively in Business Central from go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and run βday-in-the-lifeβ business scenarios across all key functions (Sales, Fulfilment, Logistics, etc.) to test system functionality and readiness.
- Facilitate workshops to embed new processes, identify knowledge gaps, and ensure adoption.
- Coach and develop super users who can lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support their teams.
- Act as the go-to change expert for Business Central adoption, helping staff transition from legacy systems.
- Provide guidance and support to the business during high-pressure go-live preparation and early post-go-live phases.
- Collaborate with project teams, business analysts, and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery and adoption.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in Microsoft Business Central implementations (ERP functional/change focus).
- Strong background in change management within ERP or complex system rollouts.
- Excellent people skills β able to motivate, coach, and engage staff at all levels.
- Experienced in workshop facilitation, scenario planning, and UAT leadership.
- Ability to quickly understand legacy processes and translate them into new system practices.
- Self-sufficient, hands-on, and able to deliver results with minimal oversight.
- Ideal Candidate:
- A practical, Business Central-savvy change professional who has previously delivered ERP transformations in retail or similar environments. Comfortable being on-site and highly engaged with end users, and capable of quickly bringing teams up to speed on new system processes.
