This role is pivotal in embedding change across a global retail organization, with a strong focus on merchandising systems, tools, and lifecycle management. Key Requirements Extensive merchandising project experience (essential – must have led change across merchandising systems, tools, or processes). Strong background in change management for global retail, fashion, or consumer-focused industries. Proven expertise with structured change methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and training delivery skills. Ability to influence senior leaders and support teams through transformation. Core Responsibilities Lead Change Management for Merchandising Transformation Drive change strategies for merchandising and product lifecycle initiatives (PIM optimization, sample management, new buying & merchandising planning tools, digital product passports). Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Partner closely with Merchandising, Buying, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Design teams to align on new systems and processes. Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels to secure adoption and minimize resistance. Communication & Training Develop and deliver targeted communications to impacted teams. Oversee creation and rollout of training programs to ensure merchandising teams are proficient with new tools and workflows. Facilitate workshops, town halls, and forums to drive understanding and adoption. Change Adoption & Support Identify potential resistance within merchandising and develop mitigation strategies. Coach leaders and managers to sponsor and support change in their teams. Provide post-implementation support and ensure new ways of working are embedded. Measurement & Sustainability Define success metrics for merchandising change initiatives and track adoption rates. Gather feedback from users to refine approaches.
