Job Description

Position Summary

As part of the software development team within the Financial Crime Solutions group, you'll play a key role throughout the development lifecycle. This role bridges business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that complex requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and implemented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business and technical goals into actionable items for the development team.
  • Write and maintain user stories and features, lead refinement sessions, and manage story prioritization.
  • Track progress on features and adjust scope or direction as needed throughout development.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, architects, and development teams.
  • Clearly articulate requirements to developers and explain technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify dependencies and potential risks associated with new features or system changes.
  • Collaborate on the design of software solutions, offering input on technical feasibility and impact.
  • Advise business stakeholders during the rollout of new tools or services.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for escalated support issues.
  • Ensure acceptance criteria are met by reviewing test plans and product functionality.
  • Help manage compliance and auditing requirements, including PCI standards.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience as a systems analyst or similar role.
  • Strong skills in business analysis, documentation, and gathering technical requirements.
  • Solid grasp of architectural concepts and systems design.
  • Proficiency in agile delivery practices, especially SAFe, Scrum, or related frameworks.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally.
  • Hands-on knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with API design (JSON/XML) and testing tools like Postman.
  • Understanding of development technologies including Java, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services (AWS, Azure, PCF), and microservices is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and an ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and take on new challenges.
