Overview: We are recruiting for a fast-growing digital transformation and technology consultancy delivering complex change programmes across highly regulated and operationally critical environments. With a strong reputation built on moving quickly, cutting through bureaucracy, and delivering measurable business outcomes for our clients.

We work closely with organisations across utilities, infrastructure and operational services to deliver digital products, operational transformation, systems integration, process automation and large-scale business change. The teams combine strong technical capability with a relentless client-first mindset.

We are looking for a pragmatic and commercially aware Business Change Lead / Head of Delivery to help lead the successful delivery of multiple client programmes.

The Opportunity: This is a senior client-facing delivery leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex operational and delivery challenges, and can balance business expectations with technical realities. You will operate across multiple programmes and clients, working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, developers, architects and product teams to ensure successful outcomes.

This is not a role for someone who hides behind process or governance. We need somebody who can bring structure where needed whilst remaining pragmatic, adaptable and delivery-focused.

You will be expected to:

  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Drive delivery at pace without compromising quality
  • Navigate ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Lead business change and adoption activities
  • Coordinate cross-functional technical and operational teams
  • Create visibility, accountability and momentum across programmes
  • Roll your sleeves up when required and get involved in the detail

The environment is highly collaborative, outcome-driven and hands-on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Leadership
    • Lead and coordinate complex business and technology change programmes
    • Manage delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams and client engagements
    • Ensure delivery plans, risks, dependencies and milestones are actively managed
    • Balance pace, governance and quality to achieve successful outcomes
    • Drive pragmatic decision-making in fast-moving environments
    • Support iterative and MVP-style delivery approaches where appropriate
  • Client & Stakeholder Management
    • Build strong relationships with senior business and operational stakeholders
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients during periods of transformation and change
    • Facilitate collaboration between business teams, technical teams and delivery functions
    • Manage expectations effectively whilst maintaining a solution-focused mindset
    • Handle escalations calmly and pragmatically
  • Business Change & Adoption
    • Lead business readiness, communications, training and adoption activities
    • Ensure end users and operational teams are engaged throughout the delivery lifecycle
    • Support organisational change and embedment of new processes and technologies
    • Drive measurable business outcomes and operational improvements
  • Delivery Governance & Reporting
    • Introduce lightweight but effective governance, controls and reporting
    • Create clear delivery metrics, dashboards and programme visibility
    • Track progress, dependencies, risks and outcomes across programmes
    • Ensure delivery teams remain aligned to client priorities and commercial objectives
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with developers, architects, product managers and technical leads
    • Support teams in removing blockers and maintaining delivery momentum
    • Challenge constructively where required around estimates, scope or delivery risks
    • Encourage collaborative and cross-functional ways of working
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Help mature internal delivery capability, standards and operating models
    • Support the evolution of tooling, delivery frameworks and ways of working
    • Contribute to scaling the business whilst maintaining agility and delivery pace
    • Champion practical use of AI and modern tooling to improve efficiency and delivery quality

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience
    • Proven experience leading business change, transformation or delivery programmes
    • Background operating within consultancy, digital transformation or technology-led environments
    • Experience working across both business and technical delivery teams
    • Strong experience managing stakeholders across operational, technology and executive functions
    • Experience delivering within fast-paced, evolving and sometimes ambiguous environments
    • Exposure to regulated industries such as utilities, infrastructure, energy, telecoms or similar sectors is beneficial
  • Delivery Style
    • Is pragmatic rather than process-heavy
    • Can operate strategically whilst remaining hands-on
    • Is comfortable working at pace
    • Understands how to drive outcomes rather than simply track milestones
    • Builds credibility quickly with both clients and technical teams
    • Can simplify complexity and create clarity
    • Naturally moves into solution mode when challenges arise
    • Understands the balance between governance and agility
  • Technical & Tooling Awareness
    • You do not need to be deeply technical or hands-on with coding, however you must:
    • Be comfortable operating within technical delivery environments
    • Understand software delivery lifecycles and integration challenges
    • Be able to challenge constructively and ask the right questions
    • Have experience using delivery and collaboration tooling such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, ServiceNow or similar
    • Be comfortable working in environments leveraging AI-enabled tooling and modern delivery practices

Working Environment: This is a highly collaborative and client-facing role. You will regularly work across client sites, internal delivery teams, technical and product functions, and executive stakeholders. The role will suit somebody who enjoys variety, autonomy and high levels of responsibility.

Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to shape and lead high-profile transformation programmes
  • Fast-growing and ambitious business with strong market momentum

  • Work alongside strong technical, delivery and product teams
  • Opportunity to influence how delivery capability evolves as the business scales
