Overvie w We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex digital programmes for a portfolio of high-profile clients.

This is a client-facing role requiring someone who can confidently build trusted relationships, manage multiple workstreams, and ensure strategic outcomes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality

The successful candidate will have a proven background in delivering digital transformation programmes, managing cross-functional teams, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the programme lifecycle

This role would suit an experienced Programme Manager who thrives in a client-facing environme nt, enjoys leadin g complex digital programm es, and is passionate about delivering exceptional results through collaboration, strategic thinking and outstanding stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple digital programmes, ensuring successful outcomes against agreed scope, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor throughout programme delivery.
  • Facilitate regular client governance meetings, steering committees and executive updates.
  • Manage programme plans, risks, issues, dependencies and change requests, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary delivery teams including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Designers, QA and third-party suppliers.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Work closely with clients to understand evolving business needs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and additional value.
  • Monitor programme performance through KPIs, reporting and governance frameworks.
  • Support commercial activities including programme forecasting, resource planning and budget management.
  • Drive best practice programme management methodologies, ensuring consistency across delivery.
  • Champion collaboration, transparency and effective communication across both internal and client teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience delivering complex digital programmes within agency, consultancy or technology-led environments.
  • Strong client-facing experience , with the ability to manage senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent programmes and projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with digital products, platforms, software development and technology delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and programme financials.
  • Demonstrable experience managing programme risks, governance and reporting.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • Experience delivering digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, data platforms or enterprise systems.
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore delivery teams.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, Agile PM, PMP or equivalent programme management certification.
  • Experience using delivery tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Monday. com, Asana or Microsoft Project.
