Contract: 3 Months (with the potential to take permanently thereafter)

Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Milton Keynes or Manchester (1 day per week onsite)

Overview

We are supporting a leading consumer-focused organisation in hiring an experienced Customer Insights / Analytics Manager on an initial 3-month contract. This role will focus on delivering end-to-end customer insight generation, helping drive data-led decision making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end customer insight generation, from data extraction through to actionable recommendations
  • Build and deliver high-quality dashboards and visualisations using Power BI
  • Work within a DataBricks/data warehousing environment to access and model large datasets
  • Conduct customer segmentation analysis to inform business strategy
  • Design and analyse market research and customer surveys
  • Translate complex data into clear, commercial insights for stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with both business and technical teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on SQL skills (essential)
  • Proven experience with Power BI (dashboard development and data modelling)
  • Experience working with DataBricks or similar data warehousing environments
  • Solid background in customer analytics, insights, or market research
  • Experience in survey design and segmentation analysis
  • Background in a consumer-facing business (ideally eCommerce)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
  • A steady, reliable contractor who can quickly add value
