Our client – a leading name in the pharmaceutical sector – is embarking on a major warehouse automation project and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join on a contract basis. The project involves the implementation of AutoStore, a cutting-edge robotic storage and retrieval system. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the transformation of one of their key warehouses, helping drive efficiency and innovation in their supply chain operations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering automation/robotics projects within the supply chain/logistics sector
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and integration with automation technologies
- Hands-on experience with AutoStore or similar robotics systems highly desirable
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Engineering)
- Strong stakeholder management and vendor coordination experience
- Immediate availability required
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of a warehouse automation project from end to end
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders
- Ensure seamless integration between WMS and AutoStore technologies
