Job Description
This position serves as the primary liaison for designated School, University, and Sporting Club accounts, ensuring tailored communication and support that caters to their unique requirements. The Senior Account Manager will lead and facilitate customer meetings, whether in-person or via virtual platforms, to comprehensively review product offerings, accurately process orders, and strengthen account relationships.
The role entails managing the entire lifecycle of sales orders—placing, tracking, and overseeing them to ensure all specifications are met with precision. Timely generation of detailed estimates and quotations is also a key requirement, in addition to executing various initiatives such as Range Plans and the Dreamsport Calendar.
Collaboration with the Product Merchandising team is essential to secure necessary approvals prior to executing orders. The ideal candidate will enforce operational compliance standards related to purchase orders and customer billing accuracy to uphold company policies.
Moreover, the successful candidate will address and resolve customer service challenges by thoroughly investigating delivery-related concerns, documenting issues, and ensuring adherence to company guidelines. Additionally, the role involves assisting the finance team with securing timely approvals of sales invoices and support in the collection of outstanding payments. Participation in relevant sporting events and the continuous enhancement of the Customer Knowledge Database using Salesforce is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Business Development Managers in onboarding new accounts by providing essential information for effective setup.
- Manage and nurture long-term relationships with assigned accounts, focusing on achieving defined sales growth targets through consistent engagement and support.
- Oversee the order processing system, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly in alignment with production schedules.
- Maintain customer-facing webshops and trade websites, optimizing them for sales and ensuring alignment with both account and corporate strategies.
- Effectively manage case resolutions pertaining to order discrepancies while safeguarding the interests of clients and the organization.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely management of invoicing and related financial inquiries.
- Assist in compliance with and the development of the Company Management System, ensuring all procedures meet industry standards.
- Generate regular performance reports for internal review, aiding ongoing management meetings.
- Support senior management with the execution of key strategic projects as required.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in an Internal Account Manager role is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities are essential.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are critical for this role.

- Attractive commission structure offering an overall compensation package between £40,000 and £45,000.
