Job Description
The role will provide a great opportunity to work on some unique and interesting projects that test the boundaries of the Service Now platform both internally and externally.
To this end you will need to be innovative and enthusiastic and able to collaborate with other Service Now experts elsewhere in the business and with Service Now.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture
- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise Service Now solutions across the full project lifecycle.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and supportable solution designs.
- Produce high-quality solution architectures aligned to Service Now best practice.
- Design solutions that balance business needs, technical quality and long-term platform sustainability.
- Technical Leadership
- Provide architectural guidance to project teams throughout delivery.
- Collaborate with Platform Owners, Technical Consultants and Developers to ensure solutions align with architectural standards.
- Support technical decision-making, design reviews and governance activities.
Promote engineering best practice across the Service Now Practice.
- Platform Governance
- Contribute to architectural standards, governance frameworks and technical roadmaps.
- Promote reuse, standardisation and maintainable solution design.
- Ensure solutions align with Service Now platform strategy and industry best practice.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Support pre-sales activities, technical workshops and solution discussions where required.
Requirements
- Hold, or be eligible to obtain, UK Security Clearance (SC)
- Significant experience designing enterprise Service Now solutions within complex enterprise or multi-client environments.
- Experience working as a Service Now Architect, Technical Architect, Principal Consultant or Lead Consultant with solution design responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of Service Now platform architecture and solution design principles.
- Strong architectural experience across one or more core Service Now product areas (e. g.
ITSM, ITOM, CSM or HRSD), with the ability to design solutions across the wider Service Now platform.
- Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs, Integration Hub and common integration patterns.
- Good understanding of Service Now platform capabilities, extensibility and development best practice.
