Job Description

The Project Manager will Lead multi-disciplinary projects focused on wastewater operations and infrastructure upgrades. The role Requires ownership of end-to-end delivery, from planning and stakeholder coordination to governance and benefits realisation. Success Will be measured by timely project delivery, improved operational metrics and sustained client confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver wastewater projects and operational improvement programmes.
  • Maintain project governance, risk registers and budget control.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, operators and contractors.
  • Engage regulatory stakeholders and prepare compliance documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops and capture requirements with client teams.
  • Track benefits realisation and produce clear progress reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven project management experience within wastewater or water operations.
  • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and operational constraints.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules and multi-party delivery teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Relevant project management qualification preferred (PRINCE2, APM or PMP).
  • Experience within consultancy or with major water utilities is advantageous.
  • Ability to travel to client sites across the UK as required.
