Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer C++ will design and implement high-performance backend systems that process telematics streams, message queues and large datasets for freight and logistics applications.

The role requires ownership of core C++ modules, participation in architectural decisions, and delivery of production-quality code that meets reliability and latency targets.

Success Will Be Measured By Sustained System Stability, Measurable Through Reduced Incident Rates, Improved Processing Throughput And Timely Delivery Of Key Platform Enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and implementation of C++ services that ingest and process telemetry and event data in real time.
  • Drive performance tuning, memory management and profiling to meet throughput and latency objectives.
  • Collaborate With Product Owners And Architects To Translate Business Requirements Into Technical Solutions.
  • Develop And Maintain Robust Unit And Integration Tests To Ensure System Reliability.
  • Participate In Code Reviews, Mentor Junior Engineers And Promote Strong Engineering Practices.
  • Own Deployment Pipelines And Assist With Monitoring, Alerting And Incident Response.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Equivalent Industry Experience.
  • Extensive Hands-On Experience In Modern C++ (C++11 And Later) Within Production Systems.
  • Proven Background In Low-Latency, High-Throughput System Design.
  • Strong Understanding Of Concurrency, Lock-Free Programming And Memory Management.
  • Practical Experience With Network Protocols, Message Queues, Or Stream Processing Frameworks.
  • Familiarity With Linux Toolchains, Build Systems And Performance Profilers.
