We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team.
Reports to: HR Business Partner
Hours: 9.30am – 5.30pm (flexibility required)
Responsibilities:
- Act as a role model within the team and as an ambassador for the department, proactively developing effective working relationships across the firm.
- Assist with ad hoc queries on all HR issues, e.g., policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, and take part in the team rota to manage the HR Inbox.
- Support on all aspects of absence management including monitoring sickness absence rates, return‑to‑work guidance, occupational health referrals and follow‑ups and produce and analyse reports.
- Input data into the monthly payroll.
- Assist HR Business Partners with disciplinary, grievance or performance related issues.
- Administer family leave (maternity, paternity, shared parental and adoption leave) and flexible working requests.
- Apply employment legislation in day‑to‑day practice while proactively keeping up to date with any changes in the law and the firm.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse data.
- Manage probation processes of mid‑probation and end of probation for all new joiners.
- Assist with the processing of benefits.
- Provide support for ad hoc team projects and initiatives.
- Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by Senior HR Business Partner or HR Director.
Qualifications:
- CIPD qualified.
- Previous experience of HR Systems beneficial, with desirable experience of Cascade.
- Proficient in use of MS Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent administration, organisational and prioritisation skills with ability to manage time efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated and pro‑active with a ‘can‑do’ approach.
- Ability to interact with people at all levels.
- Self‑motivated individual with a proactive approach.
