Senior SQA Engineer – Electrical/Electronics and Infotainment
Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Senior SQA Engineer to join our highly skilled and dynamic Strategic Sourcing team. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Guildford or Coventry, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to become part of a scale-up, where your contributions will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our forward-thinking company. With its rapid growth trajectory and dynamic nature, Forseven offers you an exceptional platform to help drive strategy as we expand into new horizons.
What you will do:
- Ensure the selection of capable suppliers for our new vehicle programmes
- Manage the delivery of new components into production using APQP tools
- Provide significant input into the design of components and manufacturing processes
- Develop and deploy sourcing strategies in collaboration with engineering development partners and purchasing teams
- Lead APQP activities on vehicle components/sub-systems
- Work closely with the engineering partner to ensure that Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles are followed
We would like you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline highly desired
- Highly experienced with EDS and/or Infotainment Components
- Experience on ASPICE or Equivalent
- Experience in a complex manufacturing environment essential, preferably in the automotive industry
- Must be highly experienced in TS16949/VDA, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 requirements
- Previous experience of the commodities within the remit of the role is desired but not essential
- Experience with APQP tools and processes
