The Events Coordinator is part of the EMEA/APAC events logistics team and reports to the Manager, EMEA event operations. Our ideal candidate for this position is a fast-paced, motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual.
Job Description:
- Manage various components of event operations, including catering, meeting room specifications, audio‑visual tools, internet, signage, registration, website updates, mobile app coordination, agendas, special events, and VIP travel needs.
- Handle event materials such as lanyards, badges, tent cards, and décor items.
- Coordinate registration needs, including sessions, attendee messaging, scanning, registration codes, and others.
- Create and edit event app in Cvent, monitoring for quality control.
- Facilitate analysts’ one‑on‑one meetings and round‑table sessions at events, ensuring accurate information is listed on the website and the scheduling tool.
- Travel to events to interact with clients and provide top‑notch customer service while overseeing sponsor lead retrieval, meeting coordination, and the mobile app.
- Review processes for improvements.
- Assist with new initiatives as needed.
Job Requirements:
- A BA/BS degree and a strong academic record with varied undergraduate work experience.
- At least some professional experience, preferably related to live events.
- A detail‑oriented approach; excellent organization and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as a valued, contributing member of a team.
- The ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- The ability to travel to EMEA forums.
