Our client, a long-established UK estates and property group with a diverse rural, residential and commercial portfolio are looking for a CFO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management and have knowledge on operating in a UK property and estates business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead financial strategy, FP
  • 15+ years in finance with at least 5 at senior leadership level
  • Strong background in real estate and development finance; experience of multi-asset or estate structures is a plus
  • Proven track record managing debt, construction finance, and lender reporting
  • Experience working with private capital, family offices, trusts, or estate principals
  • Hands-on and strategic in equal measure — comfortable at board level and in the detail
  • Long-term mindset with a genuine interest in rural communities
