We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Tax Advisor to join our client based in Wilmslow. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work across a varied client base, providing both compliance and advisory services while supporting the continued growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal and/or corporate tax clients
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation
- Provide tailored tax planning advice to clients
- Support senior team members on complex advisory projects (e.g., restructuring, inheritance tax planning, R&D claims)
- Liaise directly with clients, HMRC, and other stakeholders
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to clients and colleagues
- Assist in identifying tax-saving opportunities and adding value to client relationships
Requirements
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation (personal and/or corporate tax)
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
