We are currently seeking a Service Controller to work in a busy reactive office environment. The core duties involve liaising with customers who have urgent plant repair needs. Job Duties:
- Liaise with customers, log and process breakdowns received via phone and email;
- Order parts;
- Plan and allocate engineers;
- Ensure all estimates and related documentation are saved on the call log with appropriate comments;
- Raise estimates for remedial works;
- Appoint 3rd parties where necessary to cover breakdowns;
- Raise order numbers upon completion and receipt of paperwork while ensuring costs are accurate;
- Communicate with customers, updating them on the status of their breakdowns;
- Raise invoices.
Essential skills: confident and flexible attitude, highly organised with a good eye for detail, computer literate, self‑motivated with a can‑do attitude, excellent communicator, strong customer service and administrative skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
