Commercial Sales Manager

• Business development and customer retention

• Telephone, email, digital mailshot, online and in-person contact with customers (B2B)

• Identifying new market opportunities and potential areas of business growth

• Attending meetings with clients face to face on their premises to promote the company/product range (predominantly North West based but some national)

• Inviting clients on site to discuss bespoke/branded products with the Design team

• Attending networking events to make new connections and promote the profile of the company/brand

• Working with the Marketing team to ensure that the website is fully updated, detailed and user friendly

• Working in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to set in place sales strategies

• Overseeing a team of 8 x Sales and Marketing staff

• Training the team on customer service/sales techniques/commercial awareness to improve customer feedback scores

• Suggesting and implementing new processes to increase efficiency and ensure the best customer experience

• Responsible for staff development, one-to-ones and monitoring of holidays

The ideal candidate will have a proven Sales background within the manufacturing sector and be a confident, driven team player.
