Full Job Description

Overview

As an experienced criminal law paralegal, you will already be familiar with all areas of criminal and motoring law and will be experienced in the following tasks.

Responsibilities

  • preparing Proofs of Evidence and witness statements
  • reviewing evidence and accessing case law
  • speaking to prospective clients and advising about their cases
  • contacting the courts, CPS, police and other organisations
  • Rule 39 correspondence and engaging with individuals in prison
  • preparing Briefs to Counsel and instructing barristers, together with liaising with counsel\’s clerks

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Paralegal: 1 year (required)
  • Experience in criminal and motoring law
  • Ability to work under pressure, initiative and strong teamwork
