A well established manufacturing firm based in Westhoughton are looking for an experienced Payroll Co-ordinator to join a team of 2. Your duties will include:

  • Processing pay for circa 350 weekly paid staff who are based across various sites, using a clocking system.
  • Ensuring hours are inputted correctly, checking for missing or incorrect entries.
  • Recording holiday, sick pay, maternity/paternity leave.
  • Calculating any overtime payments are paid correctly.
  • Making amendments to employee details.
  • Entering new starters onto the system and ensuring that leavers are sent the correct paperwork.
  • Ensuring full compliance with current payroll legislation at all times.

To be successful, you will have previous Payroll experience - ideally across multi sites. Proven experience managing time and attendance data within a payroll environment is also highly desired, along with strong IT skills - particularly Excel. You will also have the opportunity to work towards and gain Payroll qualifications.
