Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and compliant.
  • Manage journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Prepare VAT Returns.
  • Support the preparation of management accounts, project costing reports, and other financial documents.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounts assistant or similar role, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, Coins) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
