Senior Technology Operations Analyst, Stoke-on-Trent, Permanent, £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Technology Operations Analyst to join a successful and growing professional services business based in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a hands-on role where you'll become an integral part of a friendly, collaborative IT team, helping to keep the company's technology running smoothly.
From resolving technical issues and supporting their IT infrastructure to overseeing technology upgrades and cyber security projects, no two days will be the same.

The successful candidate will...
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and major incidents.
- Support and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Entra ID and Microsoft Intune.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, networking, virtualisation, telephony and end-user technology.
- Monitor system performance and ensure business-critical services remain secure and reliable.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology improvement projects.
- Drive automation, standardisation and continuous improvement across IT operations.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
- Mentor and support other members of the Technology team.
- Work alongside the Cyber Security team to investigate incidents, manage vulnerabilities and strengthen security controls.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT professional with a background in Technology Operations, Infrastructure or Senior Technical Support.
You will have strong technical knowledge across Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID and Intune, together with experience supporting enterprise networking and cloud environments.
You will also have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, a solid understanding of cyber security best practices, experience working within IT service management environments and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
A proactive attitude, strong organisational skills and a genuine passion for technology are essential.
