We have the privilege of recruiting for a well-established, friendly, family run organisation, in the heart of Middlewich. They are leaders in their field of product supply, and they operate across the entire country, supplying to many different industries. Due to internal growth and future succession planning, they are promoting internally and therefore have a unique opening for a Sales Executive to join their team. Reporting into the Management team, this role is an opportunity not to be missed.

If you are a solid salesperson who likes to explore and gain new customers within an already thriving client base, then this could be the role for you.

  • Building business relationships
  • Researching markets and related products
  • Presenting products favourably and in a structured and professional way, face to face to clients
  • Listening to customers' requirements and presenting solutions appropriately to make a sale
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • Arranging and attending meetings with potential customers across the UK to win new business
  • Responding to incoming emails and telephone enquiries
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
  • Challenging objections

The ideal candidate will have several years experience of working within a Sales Executive role. They will be open to travelling and be able to stay overnight in various locations across the UK. The successful candidate must be able to drive due to travelling to and from sales visits. A proven track record of winning business and a personable and approachable manner is essential.
