Due to growth, our client is currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team based at their modern offices in Runcorn. You will be responsible for developing and executing a new business strategy. This role will focus purely on new business development; therefore, you will be confident generating your own leads, using various outreach techniques to new prospects and selling the company service lines to potential new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Managing your own sales pipeline
- Negotiating contract rates and issuing customer quotations, ensuring maximum profitability
- Developing relationships further, understanding your customers’ goals and ensuring high customer satisfaction
- Conducting market research to identify opportunities
- Completing tender documentation, ensuring that you always adhere to compliance
- Ensuring the CRM is up to date, booking meetings in your diary and managing your own sales cycle
- Leading client sales meetings and presenting marketing materials as required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Background in Facilities/ Maintenance/ Construction/ Property/ Electrical
- Proven experience in business development sales
- Effective time management skills, with a proactive approach
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for success
- Full UK driving license required
