We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Customer Services Team Leader to join our client’s organisation based on the outskirts of Nantwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a customer-focused approach to support and develop a busy Customer Services function within a fast-paced environment.

Supporting the wider business, duties will include:

  • Co-ordinating the customer services function and team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Allocating and prioritising workloads effectively across the team
  • Leading, motivating, and developing team members through training and coaching
  • Managing holiday and absence cover to maintain service levels
  • Implementing procedures and systems to improve operational efficiency
  • Managing a busy switchboard and handling a high volume of inbound calls
  • Screening calls, taking messages, and responding to customer enquiries
  • Processing customer orders, amendments, cancellations, and pricing using in-house systems
  • Assisting with transport and scheduling administration when required
  • Liaising with internal departments including Transport, Technical, Production, and Raw Materials
  • Completing general administrative duties as required

The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Team Leader, ideally within a Customer Services or Helpdesk environment and will be confident working within a fast-paced setting. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with additional overtime required during busy periods (usually around once a month paid as overtime). Additional benefits include company pension, employee discount scheme, Cycle to Work scheme and free on-site parking.
