Our client is seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator, where previous mortgage processing experience is essential to join a well-established and professional team. This is a permanent, long-term opportunity within a supportive office environment, ideal for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and being part of a collaborative workplace. Key Responsibilities
- Supporting advisers with mortgage and protection applications from submission through to offer
- Chasing lenders, solicitors and providers for updates to keep cases progressing
- Contacting clients via phone and email to obtain documentation and key information
- Submitting documentation to lenders and protection providers
- Preparing and completing suitability letters
- Carrying out searches including credit checks, valuations and references where required
- Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
- Completing AML checks for new and existing clients
- Sending and monitoring documentation requiring client signatures
- Chasing outstanding documents, invoices and fee agreements
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA and compliance requirements
- Providing general administrative and office support to advisers
Requirements
- A consistent employment history demonstrating commitment and longevity in previous roles
- Previous experience within Mortgage Administration and Financial Services
- CeMap qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills and confidence working with figures
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills
- Must be able to drive or live locally to Bury
