We're recruiting for an experienced Financial Crime Analyst to join a well-established financial services organisation. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong AML and financial crime background who enjoys investigating complex cases and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate AML, fraud and financial crime referrals.
- Review suspicious activity and make appropriate recommendations.
- Manage SARs and liaise with the NCA and other law enforcement agencies where required.
- Review PEP and sanctions alerts and support ongoing monitoring of high-risk customers.
- Manage CIFAS, Hunter and fraud referrals.
- Produce reports and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial crime regulations and agreed SLAs.
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes and identify potential risks and process improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a Financial Crime, AML or Compliance role.
- Strong knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations and financial crime legislation.
- Experience investigating SARs and supporting MLROs.
- Experience working with PEPs, sanctions screening and fraud investigations.
- Knowledge of CIFAS, Hunter/SIRA (desirable).
- Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills.
- Experience within financial services or asset/vehicle finance would be advantageous.
