The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Working for a leading manufacturing firm, this is an integral role supporting both the Health, Safety & Environmental Manager and HR Manager. The role will comprise of administrative and project responsibilities which will give a broad range of experience and opportunity to make a real difference.

Job duties:

  • Log accident, near miss, and employee and senior leadership observations
  • Assist the HSSE Manager in carrying out risk assessments for both sites and keep the system up to date
  • Take minutes of the HSSE Monthly Steering Meetings
  • Undertake COSHH assessments following full training
  • Carry out internal audits as part of the team approach with specific responsibility for First Aid rooms
  • Support the Supervisors with workplace inspections and maintain the tracker and log actions onto the H&S system
  • Assist with creating site Health & Safety Plans in line with the business objectives and targets
  • Help develop a training matrix and training needs analysis and work with Supervisors to ensure the effective implementation
  • Also assisting the HR department to review & revise the induction process and assist in the delivery of induction training

Desirables:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Previous experience of working in a similar HSE or training role
  • Experience of using databases
  • Experience of delivering basic training
  • Basic understanding of the term corporate sustainability
