Forrest Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for a Permanent Head Of Business Resources to join an organisation based in Warrington.
Key duties will include:
- Attend and participate in meetings of the Finance and Business Resources Committee and Audit Committee
- Negotiate and influence strategic decision making
- Manage payroll services for all staff including the management of pension schemes
- Evaluate information and consult with the Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and Governors
- Monitor and control budget and financial performance
- Provide monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and budgetary information as required
- Ensure financial processes (Invoicing, Creditor Control, VAT submissions etc) are undertaken on a timely basis
- Lead and manage the use of IT resources across the charity, ensuring efficient and effective service and project delivery
- Identify, develop and implement innovative and emerging solutions in line with organisational and service strategic plans
- Carry out any other duties as requested by the Chief Executive Officer
Skills/Qualifications required:
- Accountancy qualifications (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
- Degree in Business Management or equivalent related professional qualification
- Previous experience in building and forming working relationships across professional and operational boundaries
- Experience using SAGE 50 accountancy software
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
- A results driven and proactive approach
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
