Job Overview
Senior Accounts Manager (Practice) – Bolton office of one of the UK’s largest accountancy practices.
Salary: up to £50,000 per annum, based on experience, plus 28 days holiday and other benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships, identifying new advisory opportunities.
- Manage, lead and develop the performance of senior and junior team members.
- Apply technical knowledge of FRS102 and FRS105 reporting standards.
- Provide advice on tax planning, including remuneration strategy, pension contributions and capital asset management.
- Liaise with credit control to ensure accurate client billing.
- Coordinate with personal tax department for self‑assessment preparation.
- Attend client meetings as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fully ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Currently working in practice with a minimum of two years experience, including leadership experience.
- Proficient in Xero; knowledge of CCH is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of FRS102 and FRS105.
