Our client is a well-established, professional services organisation, who are looking to recruit an experienced Documents Manager to lead a specialist document production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining people management with hands-on document production, ensuring all client-facing documents are produced to the highest standard and consistently reflect the company’s professional brand.
Working in a modern, professional environment, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the document production function, ensuring requests are delivered efficiently, workloads are effectively managed and quality standards remain exceptionally high.
Key Responsibilities include…
- Leading, supporting and developing a team of Document Executives.
- Allocating and prioritising your own and the teams’ workloads through an internal ticketing system, ensuring everyone’s workloads are balanced and deadlines are achieved.
- Managing expectations with internal stakeholders regarding document turnaround timescales
- Reviewing and quality checking documents before the final versions are issued.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company branding, formatting standards and quality guidelines.
- Create and maintain professional document templates from scratch using Microsoft Word and Power Point.
- Continuously improve documentation processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and support where required.
The Successful Candidate will have previous experience of managing or supervising a document production or document management team, be an Advanced Microsoft Word and Power Point user and have excellent proficiency is in data manipulation.
Alongside this, you will be able to create complex templates and professional documents from scratch, whilst considering its formatting and branding.
Previous experience of working within a professional services environment is essential, along with a keen eye for detail and commitment to producing work of the highest standard.
In return the role offers a starting salary of circa £40,000, an enhanced holiday entitlement, free on-site parking and modern offices.
